Inner and outer shells are available in aluminum or steel, and contain a steel inertia weight. This inertia weight has six (2-ring design) or eight (3-ring design) computer machined grooves to retain the proper durometer O-rings (dyno tested for each application).

ATI Treemaster Racing Torque Converter

Ultra Glide ® Transmission

Ideal for Stock, Super Stock and Comp Eliminator racers, the Ultra Glide Transmission utilizes the lightest components available. Standard features include an aluminum hub, one-piece aluminum drum and lightweight ring gear to reduce rotating mass and improve ET. It is equipped with a minimum pressure, computer machined Compu-Flow Valve Body and includes a front pump that requires less horsepower to drive than standard pumps. It also enhances lubrication and adds to the reliability and longevity of the unit.

ATI High Impact Powerglide Racing Transmissions are recommended for vehicles that produce up to 1800 HP and need the added reliability offered by these heavy-duty gear combinations.
