RINEHART'S PERFORMANCE
RACE CARS
Sponsorship Opportunity Mart Rinehart and Larry Guest formed the Guest & Rinehart Drag Race Team in 1993. With Marty Rinehart, Jr. driving, they bracket raced a 27-T roadster for five years before converting to Super Gas. Later, the team raced a ‘68 Caprice in Stock and won NHRA class championships at 2 national events. Earning a #6 finish in NHRA’s Division 1 in 2000 convinced the team to move up to Super Stock. They raced in Stock Eliminator while their Super Stock ’69 Camaro was under construction at Rinehart’s Performance Race Cars. In 2004, the team’s first year in Super Stock, Guest & Rinehart posted impressive results, including a number of semi-final, runner-up and final-round appearances. At NHRA National Open events at Atco Raceway and Mason Dixon Dragway, they were winner and runner-up, respectively. NHRA Divisional races saw the team achieve success as well. At the Numidia Raceway NHRA Division 1 Points race, they advanced to the semi-final round. At an East Coast Stock Super Stock Association event, they advanced to the final round at Atco Raceway. Finally, at Beaver Springs Dragway, they runner-upped at their first-ever IHRA Divisional race. Guest & Rinehart invites you to become a single race sponsor of the team, or to partner with us for the entire season in 2008. Guest & Rinehart keeps getting better and faster, while racing at increasingly competitive levels. Our driver, Marty Rinehart, Jr., is an accomplished racing veteran. The team will participate in the 2008 NHRA racing season with a proven car and engine combination and will attend events between early May and late October, competing primarily in the Mid-Atlantic. Drag racing sponsorship offers a unique opportunity to reinforce your message to your prime audience. Millions of fans will visit an NHRA or IHRA event in 2008, typically spending three days at an event. Drag racing locker rooms (the pits, that is) are wide open and fans interact with their favorite drivers, team owners and crew. Fans have an opportunity to view sponsor products, take advantage of sponsor promotional items, and obtain copies of sponsor literature. Motor sports fans are brand loyal; 73% vs. 38% for the MLB and the NBA, 36% for the NFL and 28% for the Olympics. The NHRA and IHRA race fan has a higher base income than the average NASCAR fan, with 59% earning incomes between $30,000 and $50,000. Most drag race fans own a computer, 61% own a cellular phone, and 61% are connected to the internet.
